This is my third year teaching at EHS and my seventh year teaching overall. I love being a part of the Wildcat Family at EHS! I taught honors Algebra and 7th grade math at Coppinville Junior High before I came to EHS. As much as I hated to leave, my love for teaching the "harder" math made EHS a perfect fit for me. Before CJH, I taught Algebra 2 with Trig and Algebra, along with different Science and Bible classes at Enterprise Preparatory Academy.
I grew up spending an equal amount of time in Atlanta, Georgia and Peoria, Illinois. I graduated from Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody (Atlanta), Georgia and began my college career at the University of Georgia. I took a hiatus from UGA to serve my country in the United States Marine Corps, where I worked as an Avionic Electrician on the AV8-B Harrier. Once I went back to school, I attended Enterprise State Community College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with an AS specializing in Chemistry, and then finished my BS at Troy University as Summa Cum Laude in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry. I am currently persuing my MS in Math Education at the University of West Alabama.
I have 3 amazing daughters. My oldest daughter, Tori, will be leaving for the Air Force in the Fall to start her career. My middle daughter, Rain, has to endure attending EHS with me as a junior this year! My youngest daughter, Reagan, attends Coppinville Junior High as a seventh grader. She manages my calendar by keeping me wrapped up in her love of sports; specifically volleyball and soccer. Life at my house is always interesting and fun as we spend as much time as possible laughing and enjoying life together!
In addition to my 3 beautiful girls, we have 2 precious canine fur-babies, Adler and Sputnik! In my spare time (as if I ever get any!), I try to travel and/or just enjoy my peace and quiet and peace of mind.
