Dr. Lori Jacobs is currently entering her twenty-third-year teaching. She taught in Leesburg, GA for the first twelve years of her career and in Banks, AL for the last ten years. This is her first year at Harrand Creek as a Math Specialist and she is very excited. While she has experienced teaching every subject, she has primarily taught Math and Science for the majority of her career. 

Dr. Jacobs holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Certification in Leadership, and an Ed.D in Higher Education and Adult Learning.  Dr. Jacobs attended Georgia Southwestern University, Valdosta State University and Walden University while obtaining her degrees. She is currently pursuing National Board Certification for Middle Childhood Generalist.

Dr. Jacobs was name Teacher of the Year at Twin Oaks Elementary School, Local System Teacher of the Year in Lee County Schools, WFSA Teacher Class Act Recipient, GREA Outstanding Educator Recipient, Junior League Turtle Grove Winner for Elementary Schools, Volunteer of the Month Recipient, National Volunteer Service Bronze Recipient and National Volunteer Silver Recipient.

Dr. Jacobs is a member of the LGA, Ladies Golf Association, where she serves the community of through volunteer work. She is also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa and AEA.

Dr. Jacobs is originally from Albany, GA, where her mom and sister still reside.  Dr. Jacobs is married to Robert Jacobs, who is a plant food manufacting director for Cargill. They are proud parents to Peyton Jacobs and their three fur babies; Hercules, Luna and Zena Jacobs. Her son is an avid golfer and attends Enterprise Community College. She enjoys time with family and friends, long hikes and bike rides, working out, traveling and playing with her dogs. Dr. Jacobs believes in life-long learning and helping others achieve, which is a forever passion.
