BM-Commercial Music
Aaron Shealey
Aaron is a proud native of Auburn, AL and a vocalist, voice instructor, and actor. He is a 2023 graduate of Auburn University; and before that, a student at Enterprise State Community College. Aaron made Auburn University history as the first to graduate with a Commercial Music degree. While pursuing his degree at Auburn he studied both classical and commercial voice, performed in many of the opera workshop productions, was the music assistant for the choral department, and had the opportunity to direct the AU men's chorus. Aaron's accomplishments include, performing in Jubilee (Tazwell Johnson) as Edmund Watkins at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival (ASF), Being the Music Assistant for the production of Cabaret (Joe Masteroff) at ASF, performing as the "Hallelujah" soloist in the London premiere of The Cry of Jeremiah (Rosephanye Powell), and placing second in the Negro Spirituals category of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition. Aaron is so excited to join the wildcat family as the Assistant Choral Music Director and looks forward to a wonderful school year!
