My name is Rachel Harbin, and I am very excited to be teaching music at Harrand Creek this year! I graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Music Education, where I played flute and piccolo in the band programs. My professional affiliations include the National Association for Music Education, Alabama Music Educators Association, American (and Alabama) Orff-Schulwerk Association, and Tau Beta Sigma. I am also the Harrand Creek Harmonies choir director and Beta club co-sponsor! In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and playing board games with friends.

I firmly believe that every child is musical and that music is a necessity in having a well-rounded education and becoming a well-rounded person. I look forward to making music with the wonderful people at Harrand Creek this year!
