Hello! My name is Brittany Bowden. I am overjoyed to be teaching first grade at Harrand Creek this year. I joined the Harrand Creek family in 2022.  I grew up in Prattville, Alabama but moved further south to finish high school and graduated from Crenshaw Christian Academy  After graduation, I worked as a daycare aide for five years. During this time, I fell in love with all things education and helping children! I pursued my love for education and worked toward my goal of becoming a teacher. I accepted a position as a long-term substitute at my alma mater while completing my internship. Following my graduation from Troy University, I became my teaching journey as a full time teacher.

In my free time I love to watch movies, spend time with friends and family, shop, and play with my two precious dogs!

I am beyond excited to be at Harrand Creek. I cannot wait to watch the students learn and grow, but most importantly, have FUN! First grade can be challenging at times. My goal is to help and support each student to make this year one of their best yet!
