My name is Lydia Rogers, and I am very excited to continue serving the students of Harrand Creek Elementary as a Special Education teacher for grades 4th - 6th.  I graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education in June, 1994.  I later returned to college and earned a Masters of Science in Education in December, 1998.   I was born and raised in Samson, Alabama, where I met my high school sweetheart, Shane Rogers.   We have been married for 33 years and have a wonderful son, Seth, and a beautiful daughter-in-law, Macy.  We are now proud grandparents of two precious identical twin granddaughters.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and going to the beach.  I am truly blessed to teach at Harrand Creek Elementary and look forward to the upcoming school year.
