A WARM HELLO TO YOU!                                                                       I grew up in Lilburn, GA (a suburb of Atlanta), the youngest of 3 girls. My late parents, Jane & Clyde, raised me to be confident and passionate about life, to love the Lord with all my heart and to give 100% to everything I do. I love bringing genuine joy & energy to the classroom. Anything goes to get & keep students' attention in my classroom, like a 30-second jamming session to a great song since music is always playing, a quick movie clip when illustrating a point and an occasional run through the raindrops as we stop to smell the roses! I thrive on using every moment as a teachable moment and presenting relevant and applicable information. Teaching is my thing and I LOVE IT! I look forward to sharing my love of teaching and learning to inspire future educators.                                                                       My husband, Rob, and I met while at Auburn University. We've been married since December 2002. He is a native of Enterprise and graduated from Enterprise High School in 1994. Rob is a Fisheries Biologist Supervisor and works for the Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources. We have 3 precious children: Graham (EHS Varsity Tennis), Avery (Expressions at DJHS) and Ellie (HHES Ballet, Jazz & Tap). Our 4-legged child, Sadie, is a sweet GoldenDoodle. We are active members of First Baptist Church Enterprise, where my husband is a deacon, we teach Sunday school to middle and high school students and chaperone numerous youth trips. My family really enjoys spending time together! We are passionate about what our kids enjoy: tennis, show choir & dance. We also love RV camping, playing cards, dominoes with neighbors, boating, tubing, jet skiing & LAUGHING OUT LOUD whenever possible.                                                                                                   I LOVE teaching at the high school! It's significant for many reasons: our son, Graham, is a student at EHS, it's special to teach at my husband's alma mater, but the most significant reason is my Mom was a high school teacher. She taught Home Economics in Atlanta. She actually had John Schneider (Bo Duke from The Original Dukes of Hazzard) in her 1960s Home Ec class! She'd be tickled pink if she knew I was doing this!                                                                                        I'm HONORED to be a part of the Education & Training Program, Career Tech Education, Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis and I'm a PROUD member of the Wildcat Family at Enterprise High School! GO CATS!
