I am excited about continuing my career as a Wildcat! This is my 24th year as a special education teacher. After graduating from Troy State University, I began teaching at Daleville High School, where I did my student teaching. Four years later, I shifted over to Coppinville Jr. High where I taught for five years. I then spent thirteen years in the Dothan City Schools system, but was so happy to have the opportunity to return to Enterprise, where I plan to finish out my career~ This year I will be co-teaching in the English 9 and World History II classrooms with some pretty amazing teachers. I am thankful to have the opportunity to impact students' lives in a positive way.
I married my husband, Harry, in 2002. We adopted our daughter, Gracie, three years later from China, and our son, Harrison, joined the family a couple of years after that. Our family attends Calvary Baptist Church in Dothan. We enjoy spending time together coaching and watching our kids participate in their various sports. When we aren't at the ballpark or a cheer competition, we love to spend all of our spare time traveling and making memories as a family.
This is going to be an amazing year~ Go Cats!!
