I grew up in Glen Saint Mary, Florida and graduated with a BAE in Art Education from the University of North Florida in 2004. I taught in Florida for 5 years before moving to Hawaii after my husband joined the Army in 2010. There, I worked with Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS). I received a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University in 2015 and taught 4th grade in Clarksville, Tennessee before moving to Savannah, Georgia, where I taught third and fourth grade at Pulaski Elementary. I served as a Master Teacher in a teacher residency program with Georgia Southern University and Savannah-Chatham Public Schools until we moved to Enterprise. I am currently working on applied research to earn a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
I am excited for a new year at Holly Hill. When I'm not working on school related projects, I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach and reading. I have four children, Alek, Lolita, Nikolas, and Gabriel Hunter.
