Welcome to 5th grade at Harrand Creek Elementary School, the greatest place to "bee"! My name is Alicia Newman and I am very excited about teaching Science and Social Studies this year. I am a native of Abbeville, AL and graduated from Abbeville High in 2003. This is my second year teaching in the state of Alabama. However, I'm no stranger to helping foster a love for learning in children. I've taught PreK, 1st, 2nd grade, and I was a school counselor as well. This will be my 11th year as an educator. My 3 daughters and I moved from Fort Hood, Texas last year and we look forward to enjoying all that Enterprise has to offer.
