Here is a video of how you can go back and review what you missed on a reading test:
If you ever want extra practice for grammar or reading, please log into Connect Ed. You can do the grammar practice sheets (they are located in the "To Do" section" of the website). You can work on practice book pages. You can also play games that focus on vocabulary and grammar. It is a great resource that reinforces what we do in class. It is also a great resource if you are ever absent. In fact, in the To Do section, I have it labeled "Absent Students Work." But you can do it even if you are not absent!
Our grammar test will be on Thursday. We will do the first part of the reading test, questions 1-10 on Thursday also.
The second part of Reading Comprehension, questions 11-21, and Vocabulary tests will be on Friday
If you or your child is absent, you can log into ConnectEd and work on reading and grammar work there. I have posted an assignment there for students who are absent. I plan to do this weekly, so they can stay up to date! You will log in just like you do in class. You can find the link to Connect Ed in the "Students" tab on the main screen of the EEEC home page. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or contact me on DOJO.

Mrs. Kathy Bruce
My name is Kathy Bruce. I teach fifth grade English Language Arts. I am a native of Enterprise, and a 1997 graduate of Enterprise High School. Following high school, I studied abroad in London, England at Middlesex University. After returning from England, I attended Enterprise State Junior College for one year, and then transferred to Auburn University. I graduated from Auburn University in May 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education. Following graduation from Auburn, I married my high school sweetheart, Jason Bruce, a local realtor. We have three daughters: Jenna, Kallie, and Abby. We are active members at First Baptist Church in Enterprise, and we enjoy traveling and all things Disney!
Prior to teaching at EEEC, I taught for 19 years at Harrand Creek! My first two years were spent in sixth grade, and the remaining 17 were in second grade. I love teaching this group of fifth graders and I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
