Meet the Teacher Welcome Letter

I attended Shasta College seeking a degree in biology, but before finishing, I decided to serve our country in the United States Army.  I enlisted as an Automated Logistical Specialist and served as an Airborne Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, deploying twice.  While in the military, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-sports medicine. After serving nine years, I earned my teaching certificate from the region 12 Texas teaching program. I have spent most of my 8-year teaching career spanning from 4th to 8th grade, focusing on physical and biological sciences, Math and History.

In my spare time I train for Ironman triathlon races, hunt for sharks teeth and relax at the beach.
