Mrs. Megan Barbaree
Welcome! My name is Megan Barbaree, and I have been a classroom teacher for five years. Originally from Hartford, Alabama, I graduated from Geneva County High School in 2010. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Arts Education from Troy University in December of 2014 and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership through the University of West Alabama. Prior to this school year, I had the privilege of serving as an English-Language Arts teacher and basketball coach/club sponsor for the middle school levels. While I have loved my time with this age group, I am so very excited to teach at the next level. I hold high expectations for both myself and my students and can't wait to see how much we are able to accomplish together. Go Wildcats!
In what little free time we have as educators, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, kayaking, concerts, gym time, Pinteresting, watching March Madness and cheering on the Trojans/Tide with my husband, Chris, and going on morning runs with my shelter pups, Jake and Garth.
I am truly passionate about teaching and consider myself blessed to be a part of the Enterprise family. I look forward to working with each of you during this course! :)
